Load record

Sterile processing definition

A sterilizer load record documents each cycle: the sterilizer and cycle number, date, operator, contents of the load and the results of physical, chemical and biological monitoring. Load records make it possible to recall items if a problem is found later and are kept as part of quality assurance.
